Trusted person
Bring someone you trust in, when you choose.
Some people want family or someone they trust involved from the beginning. Others prefer to involve them later. You decide who to invite and when. You can remove their access at any time, and we let the other person know when a trusted person is reviewing your matches.
Choose someone you trust and send them an invitation. It can be at signup, weeks later, or never — we will never invite someone without your permission.
They do not get access to your account. They only see what Kaiveni Hiya allows through the trusted-person feature.
They accept your invitation and confirm their identity the same way you did, with an ID and a selfie, before they can review anything shared with them.
You will be notified when they are ready.
Your trusted person can review the matches shared through this feature. They cannot message anyone, browse profiles, or read your private conversations.
A marker on each connection showing that it has been reviewed, plus an easy option to remove their access.
The other person’s verified first name, age, island and profile summary, and a button to approve or decline.

Is Kaiveni Hiya only for marriage?
Yes. Every profile is screened for marriage intent, and accounts using the app for anything else are removed. There is no casual mode.
Do I have to add a trusted person?
No. Adding a trusted person is entirely optional and you decide when — at signup, mid-conversation, or never. If one is involved, the other person is told before they reply.
How are profiles verified?
Every member submits a government ID or passport plus a selfie that our team compares against it. A human moderation team reviews each account before it becomes visible.
Are my photos public?
No. Nothing on Kaiveni Hiya is visible on the open web, and profiles are only shown to verified members inside the app. Silver and Gold members can also blur their photos while people browse, so they open only once interest is mutual.
Why limit how many conversations I can have?
We limit active conversations so members can focus on a smaller number of serious connections at a time. Free members can keep one conversation open, Silver five and Gold ten — close one and the slot is free again straight away.
When does the app launch?
We are in App Store and Google Play review now. Join the early access list and we will email you on launch day so you can download and create your account directly in the app.
Can I use it from outside the Maldives?
Yes. Many members live abroad for work or study, and you can filter for people in the same situation.
How do I pay for Silver or Gold?
Sign in on the Membership page of this website, choose a tier, transfer the amount to our bank account and upload the receipt. Our team activates your membership after checking the payment, usually within a day. Nothing is bought inside the app.
